I am passionate about trying to create a society in which the equal, sovereign individual rights to life, liberty, property, the ownership of one's own mind, body, and labor, and the pursuit of personal happiness are protected by a legitimate federal government and local governments. That federal government has no other purpose and is as highly limited in its powers and scope as the Constitution once limited our federal government. The rich complexity and highly differentiated character of individuals is given full expression in a robust private sector in which individuals are free to associate with others in cooperation for purposes of their choice. The individual is free to choose his own values and pursue his own dreams in the private sector without interference from governments or thugs, so long as he is not initiating the use of force against others and is not engaging in fraud.

I am interested in science, technology, history, economics, business, individuality, and philosophy. Discussions with other intelligent independent-minded individuals interested in these topics is a great pleasure. I operate my own materials analysis laboratory. My wife Anna, and my three daughters give me most of my other joys in life.
